    A Scientific Approach to Comfort

Finesse Bridles are developed with a special headpiece designed to distribute and reduce pressure on the horse's poll. This is not a random innovation, but the result of decades of research and development by Danish engineers. The material used in the padding is inspired by technology used in hospital beds for bedridden patients. This special fiber material ensures that blood circulation is maintained in the areas in contact with the bridle, preventing pressure sores and discomfort.

    Collaboration with Top Riders

One of the most remarkable aspects of Finesse Bridles is the collaboration with professional riders such as Cathrine Dufour. The Danish Grand Prix dressage rider has tested various models of Finesse Bridles on numerous horses over the years. Her feedback has been invaluable in fine-tuning the design, resulting in a bridle that not only looks good but also performs optimally.

    Cathrine Laudrup Dufour states:

"The fit of a bridle is of great importance for the horse's comfort. That's why I've helped with the design of Finesse Bridles and use them on all my horses." This collaboration has ensured that Finesse Bridles meet the highest standards in terms of style, functionality, and durability.

    Scientific Studies and Results

A study conducted by Stud.med.vet Katja Gabara, Emilie Gertz, and Dr. Adrian Harrison on 12 Icelandic horses showed that all horses exhibited significantly more free movement when wearing Finesse Bridles compared to standard bridles. This is because the horses did not experience the same number of "pain strikes" – defined as muscle overloads during work. The study not only examined the muscles associated with the headpiece but also the myofascial lines that affect the horse's overall movement from the base of the skull to the hind legs.

    Design and Functionality

Finesse Bridles are not only known for their comfort but also for their elegant design. Each bridle is carefully handcrafted with attention to detail, ensuring a product that is both beautiful and durable. Vegetable-dyed Full grain leather is used, which makes the leather very unusual in this industry as it is an expensive material. The special headpiece is designed to fit the horse's anatomy perfectly, reducing pressure and discomfort.

An Investment in Your Horse's Well-being

Investing in a Finesse Bridle is not just buying ordinary equipment; it is ensuring your horse's comfort. These bridles are scientifically proven to make a difference, providing ultimate comfort and better welfare for your horse. With Finesse Bridles, you can be sure that your horse receives the best treatment, which can improve both performance and well-being.

Founder Helle Dueholm has always had a deep love for animals, and horses in particular have played a significant role in her life

-not only through riding but also through interactions in stable work, grooming, and caring for stalls. This involvement allowed her the time and inspiration to reflect on what we truly want for our horses.

At the age of seven, Helle noticed how equipment

    could influence a horse

For example, she should avoid positioning a forelock back under the crownpiece on the poll if the hairs naturally point forward.

Such small observations sparked her curiosity about the impact of equipment,

as she could relate to her own scalp experience of how a tight hairstyle can feel uncomfortable when it is taken down.

While there has been significant advancement in saddle design, bridles had been overlooked

-some brands had attempted innovative approaches, but without scientific documentation!

Together with Cathrine Dufour, Helle decided to take action. Cathrine provided valuable input on design and practical solutions, such as a bridle that is easy to disassemble and user-friendly for everyday use, tested on both young and older horses. Helle managed the production, ensuring that all components came together harmoniously.

Helle's previous work with laboratory animals in the pharmaceutical industry heightened her interest in scientifically validating the theory. Fortunately, the University of Copenhagen was willing to investigate the solution's effectiveness, and the scientific results proved crucial for establishing Finesse Bridles as a strong presence today.

    "

Our horses did not choose to be a part of our leisure pursuits

This does not preclude the joy and meaningful bond we cultivate with them

Together with our horses, we create delightful experiences that foster a deep and loving connection

Therefore it is essential for us to continually develop and improve Finesse to ensure that it functions 100% as intended

-for the benefit of the horse's well-being
